DAKOTA LOFT HOMES

Located in Wrigleyville, the Dakota Loft Homes were a transformation from an old printing factory into luxury loft homes not yet seen in Chicago. We performed a full environmental clean-up before beginning the design and construction of the lofts. These lofts were pure luxury, with spacious layouts, outdoor decks and a garage. Dakota Loft Homes were built with high-end materials, solid construction and innovative design. They sold out in 2 weeks.

1738 N. MOHAWK

Standing in the center of Lincoln Park, Mohawk is a high-end condominium building built on a 25 X 125 foot lot. Innovative design was necessary in this building to create natural light in the space, despite developing a lot with no side views. Implementing creative lighting techniques and the use of window wells gave the illusion of bright natural light. Mohawk sold out in 3 weeks.

DAMEN SRO

Built in the middle of Wicker Park, we gutted a 14,000 square foot existing SRO and created 25 1-3 bedroom rental units accompanied by a Laundromat on the first floor. We overcame many zoning and design challenges to create spacious living.

1714 W. LEMOYNE

LeMoyne is located in Bucktwon/Wicker Park and was a new construction apartment building that was craftily converted into condominiums. Luxuries were included, especially in the Penthouse units, where 20 ft ceilings let in light and give fantastic skyline views. The development sold out in 3 weeks.

651-653 ARMITAGE

This project is located in the heart of Lincoln Park. The original building consisted of apartments, commercial space, and a coach house in the back. We gutted the buildings and developed this property into two 2,500 square foot commercial spaces, designed 6 new state-of-the-art apartments in the front building, and renovated the back coach house into a 3,500 square foot single family tri-level living space that includes a rooftop deck with Chicago skyline views.

DAMEN / PIERCE IN BUCKTOWN

Damen/Pierce was known as the Busy Bee building and is considered the most infamous piece of property west of the Kennedy Expressway. The Busy Bee Diner was widely known as a mainstay in Chicago lore; but, the building was dangerous and dilapidated. After a 26-month gut of the front building, we added two new restaurants, an additional commercial space, as well as 10,000 square feet of office space on the 2nd floor. The original parking lot was developed into a beautiful, new construction apartment building with large, two bedroom luxury apartments with balconies. Additionally, the building has two commercial spaces and both an indoor/outdoor parking lot. We also designed and built a beautiful new construction four story apartment building on the lot that originally held the parking lot.  The apartments were extremely large, very high-end, and featured two bedroom spaces with balconies.  The new construction development was mixed-use, providing two commercial spaces as well as an indoor parking garage and outdoor parking.  Now the property is known as the “Gateway to Bucktown”.

2555 N SOUTHPORT

2555 N. Southport underwent an extreme transformation from a single family home into a new construction luxury four flat. We designed and built three separate 2-bedroom apartments with top-of-the-line appliances, high-end finishes, in-unit laundry and beautiful outdoor decks. We transformed the first floor into an innovative live/work unit.
